The Tabán Apartment received its first guests in 2017. We have been on various accommodation portals from the beginning.
Story:
It all started in May 2017. At that time, we only converted the ground floor apartment to receive guests. As we had no experience in this field, we started with the basics and gradually learned to be a host. We still operate as a real family business.
By the end of 2017, the separate 20 sqm apartment was completed, which was very popular with our individual travelers. Finally, the upstairs 40 sqm apartment was designed for the summer of 2018, making the Tabán Apartment, which houses three separate apartments, complete.
We can accommodate a maximum of ten people, sometimes we have real family meetings. Guests come from all over the world. We witnessed really touching scenes at the end of COVID waves when our compatriots living abroad came "home".
Information about the area:
The apartment is located in a wonderful environment. An easy walk to the banks of the Danube (about 1 km) but the city center is "two" steps only. Huge walks can be taken along the coast for as far as you can.
Not only can you explore this area on foot, but if you want to go a little further, you can hop on a bike and cycle all the way to Szob on a well-built, family-friendly, safe bike path (about 400 m from the apartment). On the way to Szob there is Vác, which awaits everyone with its beautiful main square, the banks of the Danube, good restaurants and pastry shops. Kismaros - Nagymaros-Zebegény is located higher up the Danube, where life is always bustling, but if we want peace, we can also find it there.
The proximity of Budapest is also very inviting, the downtown of Budapest 16 km away from the apartment. The bus stop is two minutes away and leaves every half an hour. It is worth visiting the city center, the Buda Castle, the Margaret Island, the squares, the baths, or just take tram 2 one night and admire the floodlit Budapest.
It is essential to visit the bear park in Veresegyház (16 km) with children, where you can see not only the bears but also the wolves up close. Water lovers can spend the whole day in the nearby Aqua world (6 km) or in Mogyoród in the Water Park (20 km).
We are also a popular accommodation for Formula 1 fans, as soon as they get to know the official dates of the races, they will book our apartments.
